KIU SPORTS WEEK BEGINS

Gilgit: Annual Sports week started at Karakoram International University (KIU) from Monday and will continue this week.The opening sports week ceremony held at KIU cricket ground where the vice chancellor ushered in sports activities by playing a cricket stroke.

 Generally,sixteen departments of the university are participating in the events.Various sports activities will be conducted during the week i.e Cricket,Football,Volleyball and Basket ball.

While interacting with media, the participants seemed quite ecstatic over sports week activities.They said that the event would provide them with an opportunity to prove their talent and skills.
